Who we are
CobblerMania was founded in 2004 by Shae Seward, who first learned to make cobbler from her great aunt. What began as a family tradition quickly blossomed into a local favorite. After perfecting her peach cobbler recipe, Shae began experimenting with other fruits she loved, eventually developing a full menu of crave-worthy combinations.
Motivated by a shift toward health-conscious living, she swapped white sugar for agave to make the cobblers both vegan and diabetic-friendly.
In May 2007, CobblerMania was featured on the cover of the LA Times Food section as one of the top ten food vendors in LA County farmers markets. A retail stand opened in 2009 on Venice and La Brea, serving loyal customers until its closure due to permit issues. Today, CobblerMania continues to thrive at local farmers markets around Los Angeles—bringing joy, nostalgia, and “so good you’ll (want to) slap somebody” cobbler to the LA community.
